Default Actual Unique Skinned Items

Hey everyone. I just came up with an idea that would be pretty cool. Everyone likes the rare skinned weapons because not many people have a weapon that looks the same. So what if you get a unique, random skinned weapon when you beat Nightfall, one that will look different than most everyone elses weapon. Basically, there are different parts to the skin, and when you get this weapon, the different parts are randomized to give you a unique skin.

Ok, I'll make an example, lets go with a staff. There would be different parts to the staff, like the shaft, the top of the staff, the bottom, and some glowy special effect to it. There could be like 20 different skins for each of these parts. When you get this staff, it chooses a random shaft from the 20, then a random top, a random bottom, and a random effect, making a skin that's unlike anyone elses.

I haven't done any probablity in a while, but i believe there would be 160,000 different combinations, so chances are there would only be like 10 people at most that would have the same skin as you.

So back to Nightfall. At the end of nightfall, you get some special item, like the amulet of the mists, and you can trade it for the weapon with the mods of your choice, like the traders on the divine path, and when you get that item, it will have a random skin. You choose a sword, or any other item that you want, it comes with a random, unique skin.

Sorry for the long read. Oh, and if I was wrong with calculating how many combinations, please tell me and I'll change it.

edit:

well if every weapon were unique then.... okay fine, great idea.

if not:

"wts unique axe max dmg 15^50 20/20 +30 = 1000 ectos"

... no thanks.

good idea.. interesting to see if can actually be added to the game...

Maybe just ask for more mods, and have it give different visual effect with each mod.

Every Item that you get from the trader at the end nightfall would be unique, so its not like only a few people would have a unique skinned item, anyone who beat nightfall would, so the prices would go no higher than the endgame greens are now.

Actually, if there were only 10 people with the same weapon skin, prices for the cool styles would be insanely high.

And if they were customized, people would be pissed because of course they wouldn't get the skin they liked.

I would say, give the players the OPTION to design their own axe from select styles. (What you posted.)

That could be a good idea too.

But, all the parts could be cool looking, and not make it so some parts look like a zodiac bow, and some parts that look like a collectors bow. Each one would look flashy, but different, so its not like my bow would be plain or boring, and yours would be cool looking. Sure someone might like the look of someone elses better, but the community as a whole wouldn't think that one would look insanely better than another.

*sigh*

I love ideas like this, but they are so impossibly hard to implicate,

Anet already made many people mad by giving only one ammy to casters, and one to warriors...

so are you saying that it would all be different, but we could choose any mod we wanted? because im fine with like 50 different hilts for a sword, as long as i could put my 3/1 vamp or w/e.
